How would the city vibe change if we could swim in the river? Utopia comments on the plans that were made years ago to clean the Ljubljanica river and make it swimmable, but time went by and the river remained polluted. In a two week-long performance, a lifeguard was seated on a high chair next to the river, patrolling absent swimmers. The banal job of the lifeguard and a concrete lifebuoy placed on the riverbank trigger questions on the qualities the river could bring to the city.
