Marko Drpić runs the small printing company TipoRenesansa given his fascination for this almost lost craft. Who is aware that the terminology of points and spaces in digital typography is based on letterpress printing and very physical objects, such as lead letters and joint spaces? He introduced Liene Jãkobsone and Emanuel Gollob to the very special world of this craft, and together they defined different answers — three answers, since Marko himself is a creative part of this project. Based on his knowledge and the creative potential of all three, letterpress printing takes on a different meaning.
TipoRenesansa is a studio combining design with letterpress printing (letters made from lead, wood and plastics), manual binding and cotton papers.
