In 1971 BIO 4 introduced a new award for the category of unrealized design ideas that had a good concept but were unable to find their way into production at the time for a number of reasons. Among others it was bestowed to the Slovenian designer Oskar Kogoj for the family of the plastic rest-chairs Gondola designed for the Meblo company.
