In nature, there are three water phases; one can find water as mist or fog, in its liquid phase or as ice. Whereas urban fountains spend their winter covered by wooden structures hidden away from passers-by. In Asnate Bočkis’ project The Fountain - water in motion celebration, water becomes a builder of its own monument that celebrates its liveliness and motion all year long. It embraces and deals with the different stages of water, without the need for wooden covers.
