In 2000 Miha Klinar designed the folding bed Saratoga for the Slovenian company Meblo. The BIO 17 international jury awarded him the gold medal and based their decision on following: "He succeeded in the solution of technological innovations, such as using rubber balls instead of springs. / ... / furniture industry should pay attention to his solution and be inspired by this successful design result. "
