In 1980 Branko Uršič designed furniture from a laminated beechwood for the furniture factory Stol. Due to technological limitations with the process of pressing plywood in the company, they have only produced one curve in a single mold. They made a perpendicular curvature, which the designer named "L". From the simple but innovative solution Uršič created a complete system of furniture: chair, armchair, table and coffee table. The work was awarded with the gold medal at the BIO 10 (1984).
