In the design of containers for butter and cheese Judith Rataitz used the old, natural method of storage for foodstuffs. The water, which is added in the double wall of the container, evaporates and maintains a suitable temperature in the inside. The work has been rewarded with honorary mention at BIO 17 (2000).
