Craig Dykers, a founding partner and head of the New York office of a recognized international architectural, landscape, interiors, and graphic design practice Snøhetta, which has its offices in Oslo, New York, and San Francisco, will give a lecture on Tuesday, October 28th at 6 PM at MAO.

Snøhetta began its career in 1989 after winning the international competition for the new library in Alexandria, Egypt. Among the projects were enthroned on a pedestal of the most successful architectural practices, the structure of the Norwegian Opera and Ballet, which in 2009 received the European Prize for Architecture Mies van der Rohe, and the National September 11 Memorial Museum Pavilion at the World Trade Center in New York City. Among the projects currently being carried out include the Expansion of the SFMOMA in San Francisco, California, the Ryerson University Student Learning Centre in Toronto, Canada, and the renovation of Times Square in New York to be ending 2016.

Dykers was invited to Ljubljana by Department of Landscape Architecture at the Biotechnical Faculty of the University of Ljubljana.
