Data Project / Data for societal impact supports multidisciplinary approaches and new perspectives in understanding and addressing the economic, social and political challenges. Four-day multidisciplinary workshop under the mentorship of the Finnish IT designer Juuso Koponen will be accompanied by public lectures and presentations of the results.
Workshop Data Project / Data for societal impact is intended to explore the potential of data visualization displays in decision-making processes and the role of visualization in solving complex problems. During the workshop, participants will focus on the field of data visualization and in this way try to obtain new, quantitative perspective to the defined social challenges and with design and other processes redefine information.

Sunday, 5 October, 17:30: Sunday opening lecture
From Monday, 6 September, to Thursday, 9 October, 12:00–17:00: workshop
Friday, 10 October, 18:00: closing public presentation of the results and socializing
