Friction Atlas, The Agency of Walking (Walking the City)
Novi trg 2
Did you know that in Washington DC a march can be permit-free if it keeps to a single lane, and it involves fewer than 50 people? In Cairo you can spontaneously discuss public matters only if you are fewer that 10. What about curfews in Iceland? Who owns public space? How they manage it?
We invite you to participate to a short Friction Atlas Workshop in Novi Trg, Ljubljana.
Through a choreographed debate, we will address the issue of legibility of law in public spaces - in a playful way. A number of local codes, which lend themselves to be represented visually, will be enacted through staged choreographies.
Organised by Paolo Patelli and Giuditta Vendrame for The Agency of Walking (Walking the City).
