Theme: Public Water - Public Space

We will transform ourselves into real detectives and in the vicinity of the castle we will search hidden waterways. We will detect watermarks, appliances and pipes, road caps and lids and identify the purpose of the fire hydrants, ask ourselves from where the water comes into town and over what procedures it must go before we can drink it from our taps. We will learn where the waste water travels from our kitchens and bathrooms, as well as learn how to keep water clean and how to save it. We will also talk about the river near the Fužine castle where the watermills and sawmills once stood, while the hydroelectric power plant is still at work. We will conclude creative workshop with a few mini experiments with water. Come, it will be fun.

Creative workshop is a place of fun, game, creativity, meeting and socializing. It is a place where kids aged 5 to 15 (or younger, if accompanied by their parents) through dialogue and with entertaining didactic accessories learn about the topics of the exhibition, and then apply their new knowledge and a lot of imagination to create their own products. Creative workshops are led by curators-educators in cooperation with the participants of BIO, students of art history or architects and designers.
